Teaching

I am developing my teaching practice through hands-on experience as a teaching assistant and preparing for future opportunities as an independent instructor. My teaching interests focus on making complex technical concepts accessible, fostering inclusive learning environments, and bridging interdisciplinary perspectives in information science and technology.

Teaching Assistant

In Spring 2026, I am serving as a TA for Dr. LaVerne Gray's IST 426/626 Information Justice & Community Engagement seminar, where I am learning to facilitate discussions on the intersection of information systems, social justice, and community-based work.

Teaching Philosophy

"My approach to teaching centers on making complex technical concepts accessible to diverse learners through concrete examples and inclusive design. I believe in creating learning environments where students from different backgrounds can engage meaningfully with technology while critically examining its social implications. Drawing from my interdisciplinary background, I strive to help students see connections between technical skills and broader humanistic concerns."
